Privacy Policy

MealTrak (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a household meal planning service available on the web, iOS, and Android. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. MealTrak is operated by NCloud Web. If you have any questions, contact us at hello@ncloudweb.co.uk.

Information we collect

• Account details — the email address and password you use to sign in. Passwords are stored securely (hashed) by our authentication provider; we never see them in plain text.
• Household & profile data — the household name, member profiles, dietary preferences, allergies, dislikes, and the preferred supermarket you enter so we can tailor meal plans.
• Meal plans & shopping lists — the plans, recipes, and shopping lists generated for or saved by you.
• Subscription & payment data — your subscription status and identifiers. Card and payment details are handled by Stripe (web) or Apple / Google (in-app purchases); we do not store your card number.
• Technical data — basic, non-identifying information such as device type and app version needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use your information

• To create and manage your account and household.
• To generate personalised meal plans, recipes, and shopping lists.
• To process subscriptions and provide Pro features.
• To maintain, secure, and improve the service.
• To respond to your support enquiries.

Service providers we share data with

We only share data with the processors needed to run MealTrak, and only as far as is necessary:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and hosting of your account data.
• Vercel — hosting of the web application.
• Anthropic — AI generation of recipes and meal plans from the preferences you provide.
• Stripe, Apple, and Google — payment processing and subscription management.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or ask us to remove your data, we will delete your personal information except where we are required to retain certain records (for example, for tax or legal compliance).

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@ncloudweb.co.uk.

Children

MealTrak is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
